Our Mission

NIDHW exist to help individuals, families, schools, organizations and our planet to thrive in the new, challenging landscape of the Digital Age.

In the modern digital age we’ve seen an epidemic spike in mental health disorders — especially among young adults and teens.

Our 21st century lifestyles are showing: Increased isolation; being more sedentary as we sit in front of a screen; a lack of meaningful connection in the social media age; a decreased sense of purpose and meaning in a post-industrial mechanized and de-humanizing digital world.

The National Institute for Digital Health is a not-for-profit organization founded to offer education and resources for Digital Health.

NIDHW is a collective of psychologists, educators, scientists, advocates, philanthropists and everyday people who are concerned about our species and how it’s been affected by technology.

Our mission is to help individuals, families, schools, organizations and our planet to thrive in the new, challenging landscape of the Digital Age.

By offering education, resources, prevention services, treatment and training to schools, individuals, therapists and organizations, we can build a healthier, more resilient and purposeful planet that uses technology as a tool—and does not become the “tool of their tools”
